Tina Poon, VP-Marketing

Tina holds a Bachelor of Science in psychology from Queen's University and she is currently a first-year Masters of Science in Marketing student.  To date, Tina's proudest accomplishment was founding and managing a university club that sent medical brigades to underprivileged areas of Central America.  As president, she managed a group of over 40 student volunteers and raised thousands of dollars in charitable supplies.  Upon graduation from undergraduate in May 2011, Tina was unable to find a summer job due ot the poor economy in her native city of Windsor.  Determined and unshaken, Tina set up her own entrepreneurial business and tutored statistics at the University of Windsor.  Through her own willpower and strength of mind, she attracted a sizable client base and earned a net profit of $1,500 over the course of two months.

Since Tina graduated with a degree in psychology, she has a very strong research background and is familiar with statistical models and SPSS.  At the moment, Tina specializes in market research and is studying sensory marketing, specifically the use of scents in a retail environment.  Tina is looking to start a career in market research and would like to combine her knowledge of research with her passion for marketing.
